I can't think of any reason this wouldn't work, but I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the internet, and am worried I'm missing some obscure rule or interpretation that makes it illegal (putting aside JCraw's tweet, with which I disagree, that one could technically interpret the multiclassing rules to disallow using warlock slots for anything from other classes other than casting spells).įlexible casting can only convert spell slots? Warlock "pact slots" are called "spell slots" in the rules. Assuming I first convert any of the remaining 3 sorc points from the class feature into sorc spell slots, can I then sacrifice a lvl 5 Warlock spell slot to refill all 5 of those spent sorcery points? And then take a short rest and get the Warlock slot back. 2 of them from the feat may ONLY be used for metamagic, but let's say I used them to quicken a spell in the morning, then take a short rest. Sorc 3 plus metamagic adept gives a cap of a total of 5 sorc points.
